In response to this heightened pressure, MD Buyline is actively expanding its products and services portfolio to meet the needs of the entire healthcare community.  The Purchased Services Associate Analyst is responsible for supporting and conducting analysis on Purchased Service contracts and categories and monitoring supplier performance.    

Key Responsibilities:

Assess customer data (contracts, amendments, and invoices) for completeness

Apply critical thinking to identify value for the member based on the information presented to MD Buyline

Assess and compare contracted pricing model(s) to develop an appropriate benchmark comparison dataset

Identify savings opportunity at the service SKU and in aggregate

Research and identify relevant Key Performance Indicators and Service Level agreement terms for each purchased services type

Identify demand management / optimization opportunities at the category level

Aggregate all research into a written deliverable to the member

Present and defend analysis to members

Research trends in purchased services and present on webinars

Analyze transactional usage and service data relative to contract

Research and categorize vendors based on services provided

Identify insights from large spend datasets


Bachelor’s degree required

Comfortable with mathematical analysis; strong MS Office abilities with a specific emphasis on Excel

Must have high level of attention to detail and a customer service orientation

Must be self-motivated with accountability and ownership of work

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with teammates and customers
